Every holiday season we look forward to hosting guests at Magical Winter Lights. We love to see the joy on spectators’ faces as they take in our immaculate light displays, the acrobatic performances and simply making memories with friends and family. For those reasons, we’re extremely saddened to announce that we’ve been forced to make the unfortunate decision to postpone Magical Winter Lights until the 2021 holiday season.
We know this comes as a big disappointment, especially as an outdoor event. And, without a doubt, this decision was a tough one, but due to operational and logistical reasons and with consideration for the health of our guests and partners, we have come to this ultimate decision to cancel the 2020 event.
We want to give a shout out to Gulf Greyhound Park, the City of La Marque, our local vendors and partners, and the many local employees that typically support our event. We know they too were looking forward to the 2020 Magical Winter Lights and have been so understanding and supportive in these unfortunate times.
We are comforted knowing this decision keeps our community and individuals safe during this uncertain time. We wish the best for everyone this holiday season and look forward to celebrating with you through online memories of past Magical Winter Lights events. We’ll also be looking forward to the most spectacular event to come in 2021.
