We are open every day including ALL major holidays; Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day with extended hours from 5:00PM – 11:00PM.
The festival gate will be closed 30 minutes before closing time. Please check the closing time for the day that you are attending the festival.
Daily online ticket sales close at 4:30PM. You are able to purchase tickets at the box office at the gate OR purchase online admission tickets for a future date.
Yes, tickets can be purchased at the box office on-site. We recommend pre-purchasing tickets to avoid long lines at the box office.
Yes, MWL is open on all major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day).
No, tickets do not need to be printed. You can pull up your e-ticket QR code or bar code on your mobile device by viewing the ticket confirmation email you were sent or following the link sent to your phone if you selected mobile delivery. Once you can see the code on your screen, head straight to the pre-purchased tickets entrance.
If you purchased carnival ride wristbands online, the e-tickets will need to be exchanged for wristbands inside the festival at Guest Services, or at the carnival box office.
In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, Magical Winter Lights may close any of the attractions or the entire park.

Yes, Magical Winter Lights offers a $2.00 off discount per transaction at the Box Office only with proof of military ID.
Tickets purchased online are dated. Please choose your desired attendance date carefully. You will not be allowed entry if you attend on a different day unless we are closed due to inclement weather on the day you purchased your tickets for.
Exchange requests to change your date must be submitted at least one day prior to your attendance date. Only one exchange allowed per order based on availability. Not all exchange requests will be accepted. All sales are final.

No problem! You will still be able to attend the festival any other day as long as your tickets have not been used or scanned.
If you have purchased Circus show tickets, please email info@magicalwinterlights.com with your order number, name and last four digits on the credit card used to purchase the tickets and the new date and showtime you would like to attend.
If you have multiple tickets purchased in one single order, all tickets can be scanned through the 1 single QR code emailed to you. Our ticket scanners are trained to only scan in the correct number of tickets at a time.
Is your group coming at different times? Just screen shot the QR code, send it to them through text or email, and our tickets scanners will scan the correct amount of guests in at a time.

MWL is on a well-maintained paved parking lot and is wheelchair accessible. You will enter GATE 2 and follow the signage to park.
You can bring a stroller, wagon, scooter or wheelchair to our festival. Our festival ground is handicap accessible.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any wheelchairs, wagons or scooters for rent onsite.
Permitted items include:
Personal cameras, tripods, blankets, strollers, wagons, wheelchairs/scooters, diaper bags and food for infant/young children/people with special dietary needs.

Prohibited items:
Outside food and drinks, pets (exception for service animals), laser pointers, spike jewelry, cans, bottles, containers of any kind, weapons (including pocket knives and concealed guns), coolers, obscene or indecent clothing, pop up tents, playpens, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, illegal substances, bikes, roller skates, and skateboards.
Drones are NOT permitted.
It will take approximately 2 hours to walk through the lantern exhibits and to catch a nightly performance or cultural act.
We recommend carving out about 3 hours of your day since Magical Winter Lights also offers other entertainment like a full-service carnival, musical performances, vendor shops, a food court and more!
Animals will not be allowed at Magical Winter Lights, with the exception of service animals.

Yes! ATM’s are provided in our food tent!
The information booth is located near the entrance if you would like to report or look for a lost item. You may also reach us using our Contact Us form with a brief message and description of your items. Remember not all items are turned in, but we will try our best to retrieve your belongings if turned in. MWL is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
